For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working very hard on rolling over. I can almost roll all the way over from my back to my tummy, but my arm keeps getting in the way! I guess I’ll keep trying. I can also hold my head up really well and I like to sit in mommy’s and daddy’s laps. I’m also getting really good at “standing”. I like it when mommy and daddy hold me up, so I can “stand” on my feet. I can see so much more when I’m sitting or standing instead of always having to lie on my back! I also am noticing that I have two feet that move and kick! It’s really fun to watch them try to grab onto the monkey on my gymini mat.
One yucky thing happened on September 29th. I got my first cold! It was awful. My nose was runny and I had a bad cough. Mommy and daddy had to use the suction thingy to help me breathe and they put saline drops in my nose. I did not like that! Luckily, I got over it pretty quickly and am feeling much better. Mommy took me to her school again yesterday to see her teacher friends. They couldn’t believe how big I had gotten. They all thought I was so cute! Oh, and I’m famous! Tacked to the bulletin board was a picture of me and daddy at the race we ran a couple of weeks ago. I was getting my medal for the youngest finisher. My name was mentioned too! I guess I’m following in the footsteps of my Grandpa Wottle!
