I turned eight months on February 16th. It was a pretty uneventful day, but in the past two weeks a lot has happened!
First, I am officially on the go! When mommy or daddy puts me down, I no longer stay in that one spot. I can belly crawl just about anywhere and usually to places mommy and daddy don’t want me to go! I like to go for the plant and mommy’s exercise ball and weights. Oh, and I also like the cords! It is so fun to be able to explore!
Second, I think I must be saying something exciting to mommy and daddy because they keep looking at me and saying “dada” and “daddy”! So, I guess that’s what I’m saying now. Not sure what it means, but it sure is exciting for mommy and daddy to hear!
Third, on February 25th, when mommy and daddy put me in my crib to play I really surprised them when I was able to go from being on my back to flipping over to my belly, to pushing myself up into a seated position, and then to pulling myself up to stand using my crib! It was so exciting and we were all very proud! I tried to take a few steps holding onto the rail, but I quickly fell!
