Mommy, daddy and me were all very busy this month. Mommy and daddy have been working hard getting my and my sister’s room ready. Daddy built me a new bed, which I helped with, and a new table. I really like being able to sit at my own table and color. And mommy has been busy sewing and buying all kinds of fun stuff. I can’t wait until my new room is ready!
I had my 18 month appointment this month and I was not very cooperative. I wouldn’t even let them measure how tall I was! But I did get my weight- 24 pounds. And the doctor said I looked great!
I’ve been learning all kinds of new words, too. I think I can say about 25 – 30 words now. Mommy loses 
count sometimes. But my favorite “word” (other than uh oh) is copca (this is for helicopter). Daddy got a remote controlled one for Christmas and we love to fly it around the house. Everyday when he comes home from work I say “copca, copca” and point to the ceiling. I also have a little wooden toy helicopter that I like to fly around.
I’m getting very good at feeding myself, even though it’s still pretty messy. I can climb into and sit in big 
chairs. I love climbing onto my new bed and playing. I can easily go up and down stairs now. And I love to run all around the house especially when daddy is chasing me!
I know the next few months are going to be very busy and exciting as we all wait for the arrival of my baby sister!
