This past week we went to Gatlinburg for the Pressler Family Reunion. It was so much fun. I got to see and meet a bunch of relatives. My grandma and grandpa, my aunt Jenny, my Uncle Scott, my Aunt Ashley, and my cousins Becca and Andrew were there and I was so glad to see them. Lots of great aunts and uncles were there, too, and so were my great grandma and grandpa and they were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary! We stayed in this huge cabin that had three floors, video games, a ping pong table, a huge TV, and lots of outdoor decks with rocking chairs and swings. We got to do lots of fun things, too. One day we went tubing down a river. The river was pretty low since it hadn’t rained very much, so we didn’t go very fast. I sat on daddy’s lap most of the time and we slowly floated down. There were a few fun rapids, though, and we went fast through those. We also got to take a hike up to some really pretty waterfalls. It was a pretty long hike and it took me a long time to get to the top because I liked exploring and looking at all the rocks and plants and trees. When we finally made it to the top Daddy let me play in the water and I got wet! On the way down Daddy had to hold me most of the way, because I was sooo tired!! But it was really fun. The next day we went to the Ripley’s Aquarium. It was really neat. I got to see a lot of cool fish. We got to walk through this huge glass tunnel and I saw some sharks and a sawfish! I had a great time in Gatlinburg!
