I’m Eight Months Old

On December 12th I turned eight months old!  Like all the previous months of my little life, this one has been busy, too!  I’m sitting up so well now and can reach for all my toys.  When I’m on my belly I can sort of scoot my way to a toy that I want, but I’m not quite ready to crawl yet (I think mommy is just fine with that, too!).  My legs are getting really strong, too- now I can stand up by myself if I’m holding on to something.  I love to babble and talk to mommy, daddy and Ethan and they just look at me and smile.  I’ve tried lots of new foods this month like green beans, peas, applesauce, bananas, carrots and squash and I’ve liked them all!  I’m sleeping pretty well at night- about 10 hours and getting better with naps.  We’ve done lots of fun stuff this past month, too.  Grandma and grandpa came to visit, I played with Ethan in the leaves, I got to meet Santa and I went to Ethan’s Christmas party.  I know I’ll be busy this month, too, because Christmas is just about here and we’ll be heading to Memphis to celebrate with my grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and cousins!  I can’t wait!
