I sure have learned and changed a lot in three years! There’s so much I can do! Here’s the highlights:
- I can carry on full conversations with mommy, daddy and my friends.
- I’m learning to put my head in the water when swimming.
- I can pedal my bike all by myself.
- I’m learning to use my imagination and do pretend play.
- I can do lots of things independently like potty and dress myself.
- I can “retell” stories from my favorite books.
- I’m learning to count and say my ABCs.
- I can sing several short songs like “Wheels on the Bus” and “Old McDonald”.
- I’m very inquisitive and love asking “Why?” and usually don’t stop until I get an answer that satisfies my curiosity.
- I love exploring outside, looking for bugs, throwing rocks into streams, digging in the dirt…
- I enjoy anything that has to do with running, jumping, climbing, throwing, or rough-housing!
- I am very particular about what I like to eat (I think I get this from my mommy!).
- I’m a great traveler and enjoy car rides and trips.
- I usually sleep well at night (10 hours) with an afternoon nap (2 hours), although lately I have been struggling with falling asleep quickly! I love my bed!
- I can have quite the temper and sometimes struggle figuring out how to calm myself down. I enjoy testing the limits and seeing what the consequences are even though I don’t like them!
- I love playing with my friends!
- I love visiting my grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and cousins!
- My favorites are: book – any “Cars” or “Curious George book”, cartoon – still “Curious George”, food- mac n’ cheese, inside activity – playing with my cars or tossing the ball, outside activity – swinging, sliding and throwing/hitting/catching the ball, art activity – painting
Wow! That’s a lot of stuff in just one year!
