This past weekend we took our annual family trip to Charleston. And, again, we had so much fun! We got there Saturday afternoon and had a yummy lunch at a restaurant that overlooked the river. Then we headed to the Aquarium. This was my second time there, but Sydney’s first! It was so cool to see all the neat fish and Sydney was amazed by the big sharks and turtles in some of the tanks. We even got to see 2 scuba divers in one of the tanks! After that, we headed to our hotel. It was in Wild Dunes and there was lots of neat stuff to do there. We headed to dinner after a little rest time in our room. We were all exhausted after dinner, so we headed to bed early that night! The next we had a very relaxing morning in our room and then got ready to head to Folly Beach. It was cool and very windy (like it has been every year!), but me and Sydney still had a great time! I loved running in the water and digging in the sand (even though I was wearing jeans!) and Sydney liked looking for shells and watching the seagulls. I know we’re going to have a great time when we come back for Beach Weekend with all my playgroup pals! After a great time on the beach, we headed back to our hotel. Once we got there we decided to take a swim in the pool (it was supposed to be a heated pool, but it wasn’t very warm!). We still had a great time. I loved jumping off the side into daddy’s arms and swimming under water! When were done swimming it was time to go back to our hotel and get ready for dinner. Another yummy dinner of chicken tenders and then it was time for bath and bed! The next day we went to Magnolia Plantation. The weather was perfect and all the flowers were blooming. We had a great time walking the trails and exploring! It was such a fun weekend!
