Our Sledding Trip

Today me and Sydney got to take a little road trip to the mountains with mommy, so we could meet some of our playgroup pals for some sledding! Daddy had to stay at home because he was sick. We had a great trip up and really enjoyed watching the snow fall once we got a little further north. Once we got there we had to get all dressed in our snow gear, which was kind of challenging since we had to do it in the car! But we managed it and then headed to the hill. There was a lot of snow on the ground and more was falling. It was so pretty. I took a few runs down the hill, but then my feet got wet and were so cold. So after a sock switch we headed back out. Me and Sydney weren’t all that interested in sledding though. We enjoyed playing in it more! After awhile we were really cold, so we headed inside for lunch. After eating and warming up, we were ready to head back outside. But, we still didn’t really want to do much sledding… I missed having Daddy there! We played some more and then it was time to head home. Me and Sydney were exhausted and both fell asleep. I hope Daddy can go next year- we really missed having him there!
