From the Beach to the Mountains

We just went to the beach a few weeks ago, and now we got to go on a trip with Mommy and Daddy to the North Carolina mountains! Mommy planned the trip to celebrate their anniversary, and we spent Saturday at the creek in Valle Crucis. I had fun catching minnows with Ethan, looking at flowers and butterflies, and playing on the playground. We went out for a nice dinner that night, and then on Sunday, we went to Grandfather Mountain. We had a great time hiking the trails, and I found out how much I love fresh raspberries. We found some wild ones along the trail and I couldn’t get enough. We got to see some really funny bears, too. Ethan and I were really daring and went with Daddy to the top of the mountain, and even climbed up to the top of some rocks where it was so windy it almost made Mommy cry (she was very scared)!
