Titans Sunday Tournament

We had a Sunday only tournament today with the Titans. Sydney and Isabella painted their faces to look like zombies, which was kind of funny. We had to play three games, and it was a long day! Despite being tired in the last game ended up winning all three games even though we had a real test in the last game. We gave up 7 runs in the second inning to go down 0-7. But, our coaches told us never to give up. In the bottom of the 2nd inning, we came back and scored 7 runs to tie it up. I scored the tying run that inning. We had a few other innings where neither team gave up any runs (we both have good defense), and I came up to bat in the bottom of the 5th inning. I hit a single up the middle for our teams first hit since I scored in the 2nd. The hit got us going and I scored the go ahead run on our way to scoring seven runs again that inning. It really made us feel good that we could be down 0-7 and still come back and win 14-7! It’s hard sometimes when things don’t go well to keep your heads up, but we showed today why you should never give up.
