Spartan Beast and Hurricanes Party

Daddy went this morning to do another mud run. This one was the Spartan Beast, but he had one important thing to remember – he had to get back home because today was also the Hurricanes team party. Daddy got up early and drove down to the race, ran the race (it took him about 3 hours), then wiped some of the mud off and drove back home. Once he got home, he washed the mud off and got cleaned up and helped get ready for the party. Fortunately Mommy did most of the work, because Daddy looked tired and sore. In the afternoon, we had all of my Hurricanes teammates over for our end of year celebration. We didn’t win the tournament, but Daddy said he was really proud of us for playing so hard against some very good teams. I had lots of fun this season and really improved my hitting, ending up with 5 home runs, 4 triples, and 8 doubles. I’m going to miss hanging out with my friends from the Hurricanes, but hopefully I’ll get to play with them next season.
