Trip to Colorado

We just got back from our trip to go see Jenny, Mark, Maddie and Will in Colorado. It was such a fun trip. I don’t know if I can remember all the fun stuff we got to do while we were there, but I’ll try. We flew on an airplane to go see them, and Jenny came and got us from the airport and we got to see how big Will had gotten. While we were at Jenny’s house, we went to visit some parks with hiking trails, and rocks to climb on, and we also went on a train ride up to the top of Pike’s Peak – when we got to the top, it was so hard to breathe and it was so cold. It was really neat to be that high up though! We also got to go see uncle Jeff and aunt Carol. Their house is so fun – we had animal shaped pancakes, got to ride on Jeff’s ATV, and Daddy and Mommy shot some guns! We also went on a sunset safari around their “neighborhood”, and saw some deer, and elk! We didn’t see any bears, but we sure did try to find them. Back at aunt Jenny’s house, we got some snow, and got to go play in it with Maddie, and even made a small snowman out in front of their house (Daddy says you can tell we’re from the south). And on the last day before flying home, we got to go see the Easter Bunny. It was such a fun trip and I can’t wait to get to go visit them again!
