Over Labor Day weekend grandma and grandpa Compton came to visit. We had so much fun. Ethan loved it because he got to play outside a lot with grandpa. He showed grandpa how he can climb up the ladder into his fort, how he can slide down his slide, how he can bat, and how he can shovel sand into his buckets! He kept grandpa very busy! As for me, I got lots of cuddle time with grandma and grandpa.
On the first day of their visit, we all went to Windjammer Park just down the road. 
It was so nice and quiet and the weather was perfect! Ethan had so much fun because he got to play on the beach and splash in the water. He also saw some neat fish that tried to bite his toes! He fed them some leftover bread and they got real close! He also loved jumping up and landing in the water! Daddy and him had a good time building sand castles and swimming! I got to spend lots of time with grandma on the blanket! Later they had a picnic lunch and I took a snooze in the stroller. It was such a nice day.
For the rest of their visit we just rested and relaxed here at home (after doing a little shopping!). 
It was fun having visitors again! Me and Ethan had such a good time with grandma and grandpa. Ethan keeps asking for papop (that’s how he says grandpa) especially when he sees a truck (that’s what grandpa drives)! We can’t wait to see them again!
