For the past three weeks we have been in Memphis visiting our families. We have had a very busy and fun time. The trip started out with Aunt Jenny’s wedding, which I already told you about. But, we also got to do a lot of other fun things while we’ve been here, too. One of the days aunt Ginger, uncle Michael, and Chloe came over and we made cookies. We had a great time decorating them, but I really enjoyed eating them! Another day grandpa and mommy took me fishing. It was fun, but I was more interested in making big piles of rocks than I was in holding the fishing pole. But I did get to touch a fish- a man fishing down from us caught one and he let me help reel it in and get a close look at it. Another day my Aunt Ginger picked me up and took me and Chloe to Chik-Fil-A and then to her house to play. We had an awesome time!

We also celebrated Christmas there. It was a lot fun opening up all those presents and I kept asking “Is there anything else?”. I got lots of neat stuff like some neat tools, playdough, books, a spinart, and a cars umbrella. Oddly, however, my favorite thing to play with the whole time was the toy I discovered in the attic- a 20 year old race track with motorcycles that mommy had when she was a little girl. Everyone thought it was funny that I was so excited about this toy. I guess they should have just wrapped that up and put it under the tree. Sydney had fun opening her presents, too. She got a cups and saucers set, some play food, a folding chair, some pajamas and some shoes. Later Michael, Ginger and Chloe came over and we had a great time celebrating with them. It was an exciting day.

On one weekend we drove over to Little Rock to visit my uncle Scott, aunt Ashley, and cousins Andrew and Becca. We had a lot of fun exploring their backyard (which is a mountain behind there house) and playing in their tree house. We also went to Pinnacle Mountain State Park and climbed the rockiest trail ever. I had to use my hands and knees a lot of the time to get up the huge rocks. Poor Sydney wanted to walk, but it was just too hard, so mommy and daddy had to hold her most of the time. We climbed all the way to the top and we could see the lake below and all the other mountains around us. It was exhausting, but a lot of fun. Later that night we went to Chuck E. Cheese! It was a great way to end the weekend!

The rest of the time was spent playing with my grandmas and grandpas! It was a great three weeks!
