I had such a wonderful Birthday/Easter weekend! On Saturday all my friends came to my house to celebrate my birthday! Since it was Easter weekend, we had an big egg hunt and then made pictures frames for Easter pictures. Everyone had a good time hunting for the eggs and we all got candy! After a yummy lunch and some playtime in the sandbox and on the tree swing, it was time for cake. But this year, mommy made cupcakes that looked llike Easter eggs and she put them all in an Easter basket! I tried to blow out the 2 candles, but got a little help from the wind! The cupcakes were delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of mine! It was time for everyone to go after that. I had such a great time with my friends! The next day was Easter and my real birthday. The day started with a Easter/birthday donut breakfast- yum! I got my very own donut with sprinkles. Then Ethan and me got to go look for our baskets. Ethan was very excited about his, but I was more interested in the bag and eggs I got at my birthday party. We got some neat stuff in our baskets- I got some pink blocks, a book, a bunny purse and candy; Ethan got a helicopter toy, a cool truck and car, a Cars shirt, some bubbles, a basketball goal that sticks to the door and, of course, candy! After some playtime with our new toys it was time for lunch and another birthday celebration. Mommy, daddy and Ethan all sung “Happy Birthday” and we each enjoyed another cupcake. Then it was time for presents! I got a lot of fun stuff- some super cute shoes and clothes from grandma and grandpa, a really neat book and another pair of cute shoes from uncle Michael, Aunt Ginger and my cousin Chloe, a pink ball from Ethan, a new doll and cradle from mommy and daddy and a new pink scooter from daddy! What a great birthday. After presents we had another egg hunt! Although, I think me and Ethan were egg-hunted-out! We were more interested in just playing. I was pretty exhausted after all the excitement, so it was naptime for me! But after nap, the final acitivity of the weekend was coloring Easter eggs. Since Ethan had done this before, he was a pro, but I enjoyed dunking each egg in every color! They weren’t the prettiest eggs ever, but we still had a fun, messy time! What an awesome and exhausting Easter/birthday weekend!
