sydneyWow! What a year it’s been! I have grown and learned so much over the past year! Just look at all the things I can do:
- I can walk, run, hop, jump, throw and climb
- I can say all kinds of words (doggie, bunny, DeeDee (Ethan), mommy, daddy, milk, swing, nap, baby, strolley (stroller), cracker, cookie and many more) and several sentences like “Daddy, where are you?”, “I try this?”, and “Swing, please?”
- I am VERY independent and want to do everything by myself including getting into my feeding seat and my car seat (even though I’m really not big enough to do that). I get very frustrated when I can’t or when mommy or daddy interferes!
- The terrible twos officially hit the day after I turned 2 and I can throw some serious tantrums!
- I enjoy eating and my favorites are cereal bars, mac n’ cheese, fruit, crackers, pb sandwiches and yogurt. And, of course, cake and cookies!
- I love playing with my baby dolls and am learning to do some pretend play with them like giving them a bottle or feeding them or pushing them in my stroller. I also like playing in my kitchen and with Ethan’s cars and trucks and Legos!
- I enjoy books although lately I only like simple one word picture books.
- I enjoy being outside exploring, playing in the sandbox. or pushing my red car. My favorite thing to do is swing!
- I like playing with my brother, but lately have found it difficult to share. This usually results in frustration and a tantrum!
- I sleep well at night (about 11- 12 hours) and take a good afternoon nap (around 2 hours).
- I’m still not a big fan of car rides, but will tolerate them if I can watch Curious George.
- I love shoes and clothes!
- I like art activities like painting and markers, but usually end up painting or drawing on my face!
- i enjoy seeing my friends and visiting my relatives!
Wow, that’s a lot of stuff in one year!
