It’s amazing that I’m already four years old! There is so much that I have learned and can do now that I’m 4:
- I can share my feelings and can communicate my thoughts with my friends and family
- I am learning how to deal with frustration although I still get upset when things don’t go the way I want them to
- I know many of my letters and numbers and can write my name with help
- I enjoy making up songs and singing them as loud as I can
- I use my imagination and can entertain myself when needed
- I enjoy being read to and can retell short picture books to Sydney
- My hand-eye coordination is getting much better- I can swing and hit my golf ball, I can swing my bat and hit the ball when pitched to, and I can catch small balls when thrown to
- I am very comfortable in the water (with my floaties on) and can jump in without help and swim around
- I’m still a picky eater and have a small variety of foods that I like (although I did try carrots recently and will eat them with ranch dressing)
- I no longer nap, but usually will be asleep by 8 and will wake around 7 or 7:30
- I still love being outside riding my new bike, playing in the sandbox, exploring the yard or helping daddy
- My favorites at 4 are: cartoon- still Curious George, but I also like Little Einsteins; food- chicken nuggets; book- no favorites right now; toy- no one favorite, but I really like my train track, legos and race track; outside activities- swinging on the tree swing, riding my bike and mowing the lawn; art activity- coloring with my Color Wonder markers in my Cars coloring book
