Trip to Valle Crucis

We went to the mountains, going to our favorite spot, a park in Valle Crucis. It has a great playground, a big field to play in, and a creek that we love to play in. We had a blast swinging on the swings, trying to cross the monkey bars, and trying to catch minnows in the creek. We did get a bit of excitement when a snake came swimming down the creek. I had fun with some other boys at the park trying to get close to it, which made Mommy really nervous. Afterwards, we went into Blowing Rock for some pizza and ice cream! What a great way to spend a weekend!
