More News

Lots of stuff has happened over the last month or so. I’m learning new things all the time and I’m curious about everything! I’m running all over the place now and climbing on everything- chairs, couches, the bed… just about anything I can pull up on! Mommy and daddy have to keep a close eye on me! I’m getting very good at going up and down steps and I practice a lot at the playground. I love going down the slides when I get to the top, too. Sometimes me and daddy race down! Mommy bought me some crayons and I have gotten really good at coloring. I have my own book to color in and I think I have colored on every page! I’m getting better at feeding myself, although, most of the time I lose the food between the bowl and my mouth, but some of it does make it in! I love playing with my trucks and cars and making a vroooom noise when I push them. I still love being outside and since the weather is still nice I get to go at least once a day and play in the yard or at the park. I’m becoming a very good eater, too. I like grilled cheeses, pb sandwiches, chicken nuggets, spaghetti, apples, oranges, and grapes, green beans, and most crackers and snack foods just to name a few. And I’m always willing to try new things. Whenever mommy or daddy get themselves something to eat I always have to have a few nibbles! I’ve got 11 teeth and one more is about to come in. It sure does hurt when they come in, but it does make chewing and biting a lot easier!

I’m starting to talk a little more. I can say bye-bye, duck, quack, apple, hello, bath,bug, and several more. But my favorite “word” is uh-oh! I say that all the time!

I still go to playgroup twice a week and we always have the best time. I love getting to see my friends. We’ve been to Discovery Place, the park, and a Christmas show this past month.

Grandma and grandpa Compton came last week and we had a great time! Fortunately, this time I wasn’t teething, so I was in a much better mood. Grandma and grandpa played all day with me!

Over Thanksgiving we went to my great grandma’s and grandpa’s house where my grandma and grandpa Wottle were visiting, too. I had a lot of fun exploring great grandma’s house. She had some fun toys to play with, too. I had a good time with my grandma and grandpa, too.
